Nicole Gugle is a Client Accounting Specialist for Dunning & Associates. She earned an accounting degree from Wichita State and also has nutrition degrees from K-State. We sat down with Nicole to get to know her a little better—here's what she had to say.
What have you learned about yourself while working at Dunning & Associates?
Seeing the world through the eyes of my two children (one year and three years old) has taught me to be present and focus on the details that matter.
What is the best place you traveled to, and what makes it the best?
Home. Honestly, travel is not my thing and so far, nothing beats the comforts of home.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Take a nap! Dinner parties–my husband is an amazing cook! Walks, bike rides, spend time with my family and watch football.
What are three traits that define you?
Meticulous, loyal and honest.
What could you not live without?
Coffee and wine!
What are you passionate about?
Food, nutrition and clean living.
What do you think the world needs more of?
Kindness and optimism.
The combination of running a business and your life and preparing for tax time can drive some people into a slight panic. But no need to get stressed if you are prepared. Now is the time to start organizing all documents required to file your tax return.
Like the old paraphrased saying goes: In this world, two things are certain—death and taxes. The recent federal tax overhaul changed a lot of rules, so it’s as important as ever to understand your tax obligations, including those on Social Security benefits.
As we close in on another year, we want to take the time to thank each and every one of our clients for your loyalty to not only our firm, but to our team of unique individuals. We like to believe that we are all more than just advisors and clients, but friends...some might even say family. So, from our crew to yours, we wish you and your entire staff and family a very healthy, safe and prosperous holiday season.
