Shayna Lane is Client Manager at Dunning & Associates. Shayna attended Bethany College and earned her degree in Business/Economics with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and Management.
We sat down with Shayna to get to know her a little better and asked her hard hitting questions like, "What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?"
Here's what she had to say.
What do you like best about being a Client Manager for Dunning & Associates?
The opportunity it provides to meet different people from different backgrounds and different perspectives. To hear their stories about their lives and their businesses and then, if I’m lucky, to become a part of their stories.
How do you keep yourself motivated and driven by your work, regardless of how busy you are day to day?
That’s easy…I love what I do! And it’s the hustle that keeps me motivated. I think the longer you stay stagnant, the less motivated you become and the more difficult it becomes to get that drive back.
If you could do another job just for one day, what would it be?
I would spend a day in the Marine Corps.
Who are the inhabitants at your residence?
Me and my favorite two people in the world! My son Xander (15) and my daughter Ava (12).
Where is the best place you have traveled to and what makes it the best?
Colorado. Ft. Collins has been my favorite town to visit so far. I love the serenity of the mountains, and I’m quite sure you could spend your entire life there and never hike the same trail twice.
What are three traits that define you?
Loyalty, Integrity, Candidness.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Hmmmm… I’m not attached to things. I’m attached to people and relationships. I can’t think of anything that would be just detrimental to my life. I suppose that if I didn’t have a car, life would be more complicated.
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
Oh boy… I would probably tell her to take a breath.
What are the top three highlights of your life?
